This is the end

Hello everyone! As you know this is the final blog of this class. I have to tell you how was my experience written a blog and I really don´t know what to tell you.

I never wrote a blog before, actually I try but it wasn´t as I expected. I think I wrote two or three post and nothing else. Now reading that post I feel very stupid because I wrote only feelings and things about love…

About this blog a have to say was different. The first thing it this is in English so was more difficult to me because I speak Spanish, obviously, and is extra trouble think in english. The second thing is I don´t have the habit to write a blog. I write in a more serious way and it is difficult for me to write colloquially that is the reason because I feel that my blogs failed to have that casual tone is needed.

But no everything was so bad, really. I liked to share my personal perceptions about the issues that gave us I class. I also liked reading what my classmates wrote, that helped me to know them a little.

Finally I have to say that I hope I have improved my writing and my reader compression.

Books

What can I say about books, I like books? I like the smell of the books, touch their pages and read it, of course. The first book I read by myself was “Nuestras Sombras” by María Teresa Budge. This book it’s like a ritual in my family, I don´t now way my mom love that book and made to read to my brother and I. Later I wanted read other books and found “Harry Potter” in my house library. That was the moment were my parents should said to me: Don´t read that!, because I became obsessed with “Harry Potter” and read all the books to the saga. The book is so different to the movie, is so much better, with a lot of details and characters to complete a world of magic. It’s a little embarrassing for me that stage of my life and confessed to you, but that happened and now I laugh and enjoy my nerd period.    

Buy “Harry Potter” wasn´t my favorite book. I have to say that my favorite book is “Cien años de soledad” by Gabriel García Márquez. I think of reading it almost one time of a week and I remember frequently extract of the story in my head. I can´t avoid the idea of this book in my mind, is always there and I just read it two times.

So I recommend you read” Cien años de soledad” if you don’t read it yet. Good weekend! 

My not journalistic class 

Hello! This semester I just have three classes and I don´t like anyone, that is the truth, but I tooke an extracurricular class (CFG) that I love, this is contemporary dance. At the beginning I decided take this class because I like dance, as simple as that, but I noticed the importance of this class in my life. I really enjoy when I have to go to dance, really much. My teacher is a really good dancer and person, she teaches us how prepare our bodies to the requirements of the dance, we do stretching and relaxations before dance and is very important because we prepare deeply our minds and bodies.

In contemporary dance we prepare choreography for the end of semester, and we choose an african song. We perform exaggerated body movements that are in part exhausted but entertained. The choreography is end now just left rehearse and rehearse and rehearse.

I remember my first class that I was so nervous, with time that didn’t happened. I think I going to take this class the next semester and I hope have the time for doing it.  

Sherlock

If I have to choose an only series as my favorite I have to select “Sherlock”. This is a TV series based in the detective Sherlock Holmes created for the writer Arthur Conan Doyle. The story turns around the idea to resolve crimes and mysteries happened in modern-day London. Sherlock still live in 221B Baker Street with Watson and Mrs. Hudson.

I like the way they shows the details in the scenes and the characterization of the characters, we can feel his personalities and intention.

The series is starring by the british actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, who give life to the characters of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson respectively. It has three seasons of three chapters each, with a duration of 90 minutes.

The fourth season has not been released yet, that put me sad but exist rumors that it is likely to be premiered this year, I hope because I really want to watch it.

I recommend you watch it, you will not regret.
